Helicopter Shirt and Spring

Here is Jacob wearing the cute helicopter shirt and shorts from Grandma Gregson. There is also a picture of Jacob trying to make a "crazy face" but it just looks like he's licking his face. The last picture is the tree in front of our neighbors house. It's been such a nice, cool, slow spring!

Carnival at CMU

Carnival at CMU is this crazy three day fair in which the students build booths according to a theme and a few amusement rides come to campus. Jacob got scared on the Merry Go Round and the Ferris Wheel, but he loved the ride in this little train! He was sitting next to a little girl he knows from school, Pe Pe, the older sister of one of the girls in Jacob's classroom. The weather was perfect---about 75 degrees---and Jacob loved it! He cried when he couldn't go on the train again. He also loved the dunk tank. He keeps referring to it when he says: "Kids...All wet!"

Easter pictures

Jacob had a great Easter weekend. On Friday night Jessica and Boette joined us for some egg dying. Jacob loved putting the eggs in the dye and taking them out with his hands. His favorite color was purple. On Saturday he got to find Easter eggs in his friend Travis's yard. He ate jelly beans and chocolate. On Easter morning Jacob found Easter eggs leading to a basket filled with peanut butter crackers, a chocolate "sponge bob," some bubbles, some books about airplanes, and some new toothpaste. Then Jacob, Silas, Mike, Kellie, Josh and Kathy went to the zoo. Then, after Jacob's nap Jessica and Boette took Jacob to see their kitties and to Uno's for dinner! What a great weekend! PS. The gross picture with Jacob's open mouth is a mouth full of chocolate! It's Jacob's new favorite food, and favorite word. He says "choc-klit" very carefully like he's been practicing the word for years!
