What a long strange trip it's been
Our journey to Nashville was relatively short, but the time and effort it took to pack up in Pittsburgh and settle in here in Guitar City has been prodigious. For the help of Josh's mom, Kathy Gregson, and our sister-in-law, Nancy Gregson, we can never offer enough thanks. They flew to Pittsburgh on June 9th, and they were virtually enslaved there for 7 days as we packed the house and packed the truck. We let them out of the house one time to see the beautiful Chihuly exhibit at the Phipps. On Friday, June 15th, Kathy Gregson, Nancy, and Jacob took off for Nashville in the car, while Josh, Casey and I finished cleaning and packing the house. Josh left Pittsburgh with all of our stuff at 2:00 AM that night---after dropping off me and Casey at the home of Mike and Kellie---who also provided much needed shelter during a difficult time!
When Josh, Kathy Gregson, Nancy and Jacob arrived in Nashville, Papa Gregson (Bogie) and Josh's brother Joe were there to help. In two days they had the truck unloaded and the house cleaned of cat hair (which was everywhere). Kathy Newman and Casey had the most luxurious of journeys; we flew to Nashville on Sunday, and came home to a happy but tired gang of hard-workers. THANK YOU GREGSONS!

The T-shirt and Casey's expression says it all! It was an adventure of a lifetime, and I was grateful that I was part of it. I am looking forward to a year with your wonderful family. See you next weekend, hopefully.
