Birthday Trip with Two 2-year-olds

On Sunday, January 29th we assembled Jacob, Silas, Kathy, Josh, Kellie, Mike, Jessica, Boette, and Bob and Martha (Kellie's parents) for a few hours at the Science Center. The Lionel trains were a crowd favorite. Jacob crawled under the railing to get closer to the trains and another little girl, about 8 years old, yelled at him, saying "don't do that." Jacob burst into tears and was pretty sad until he and Josh started wandering around the Hollywood science exhibit.

On the fourth floor we found water. We took a lot of pictures up there. After about an hour we went down to the cafeteria and had cake and cupcakes. The boys were more excited about having the cake than they were about eating it. Jacob smeared his all over his jacket. Silas got frosting in his hair. It was wonderful for our two families to be together to celebrate this important milestone!
