Sprinkler fun at School

On Wednesday the children in Jacob's classroom donned their swim diapers for a trip to play in the sprinklers outside. Josh lifted Jacob up into the top of the spray, where it came out a little softer. In the middle picture Jacob and Nicholas do "cheers, belly." In the first picture you can see that I didn't get wet in the water, but I did come out to watch the fun on my way to work.

Cloudy day

Last weekend started out with a breakfast at Silas and Mike, and Kellie's house. The adults dined on rich Italian ricotta cheese pastries from Enrico's, while Jacob and Silas completed some important construction projects in Mike and Kellie's new back yard. Note Jacob's and Silas's matching boots! Next we went to the zoo and met up with Rodney, Erin, and their son Talton. What is Talton pointing at? I took this dreamy picture of Josh and Jacob in the aquarium; Jacob told us he wanted to "see the fishes."
